Native MXF Editing in Final Cut Pro
Calibrated{Q} MXF Import for OSX is a QuickTime Import component for NATIVE Importing and Editing of MXF Files within Final Cut Studio 2 & 3 Applications.
And you're not just limited to Final Cut Pro, you can also natively import MXF files in CatDV, Compressor, Motion, Sound Track Pro, QuickTime Player and Shake.
Finally you can enjoy the freedom of editing in Final Cut Pro without the need for Log and Transfer, and now you can also import MXF files into Final Cut Pro that aren't even supported by Log and Transfer such as Avid and Ikegami MXF files.

If you don't have Final Cut Pro - don't worry! You can still view supported MXF Files within QuickTime Player or CatDV when used in conjunction with Calibrated{Q} Decode Codecs for OSX.
Additional 'Helper' Applications
Calibrated{Q} MXF Import also comes with two additional 'helper' applications
Calibrated{Q} Import Assist - When being used with Calibrated{Q} MXF Import, this application enables you to batch create QuickTime Reference .MOV files from MXF files, create a FCP XML that allows you to import MXF files into FCP with metadata or batch unlock/lock MXF files on your harddrive.
